Deadline for Abstract and Participant Registration
Abstract submission deadline: July 11th . There will be no extension of the deadline.
Early registration deadline: Thursday, July 24th , payment deadline: Thursday, July 31st
Last minute registration deadline: Tuesday, August 19th , payment deadline: Tuesday, August 19th
Deadline for same-day registration: Saturday, August 23rd , payment deadline: Saturday, August 23rd
Tournament participation fee
*1 For non-member graduate students, the conference participation fee and social gathering fee will be non-member rates. Please consider joining this opportunity (http://sesj.kenkyuukai.jp/special/?id=2514). The annual fee for student membership is 2,000 yen. There is no joining fee.
*2 All undergraduate students, regardless of whether they are members or not, are free to attend the conference. Please present your student ID card at the reception on the day of the conference.
*3 Non-members who are invited to give symposiums, etc. can attend the conference free of charge, but they are required to attend and register their presentation. A fee will be charged for the social gathering.
Social gathering fee
The tax categories are as follows:
Conference participation fee (members): tax-exempt; Conference participation fee (non-members): taxable; Reception fee: taxable.
Payment for the conference participation fee and reception fee can only be made online via Payvent or by bank transfer. Please note that cash payments will not be accepted at the venue. Once payment via Payvent is completed, a notification containing information such as a receipt link will be sent to your registered email address.

Accommodation: There are few accommodations around the university. If you need accommodation, please make your reservation early. (We have prepared a special discount accommodation plan for conference participants. Please see this PDF .)

Regarding payment of conference participation fees, etc.: As with the previous conference, cash will not be accepted at this conference. Payment can be made online by credit card or by bank transfer. Even if you wish to pay the conference participation fee and the social gathering fee at the venue on the day, you will need to pay the conference participation fee and the social gathering fee online, so please have a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners, DISCOVER). If you are unable to pay by credit card, you will need to pay the society's annual membership fee, conference participation fee, and social gathering participation fee by bank transfer on the day. In this case, we ask for your understanding that you will have to go to your bank and present the payment details at the reception desk, even if this is a hassle.

Regarding lunches: Boxed lunches will be prepared at the event and can be ordered in advance. The deadline for reservations is July 31st and payment must be made online.
The shops on the Nagahama Institute of Bio-Science and Technology campus are open, including on Saturdays. The cafeteria is open only on weekdays during the summer vacation period, with a limited menu only at lunchtime. Please note that the cafeteria is closed on Saturdays. These facilities are expected to be crowded as they are also used by current students and faculty and staff. In addition, there are very few restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance of the campus. Given this situation, we recommend that you bring your own lunch or reserve a lunch box. Reservations can be made on the Payvent payment site.

Regarding the Presentation Award: Poster presenters may present both online and/or onsite. However, those who apply for the poster presentation award must present both online and onsite. For oral presentations, both Japanese and English presentations are eligible for the award at this conference. However, past award winners are asked to refrain from submitting an application on a related topic.
